Hailey's $3 dress

So, yesterday we were at Wal*Mart and found this *way cute* dress for Hailey. It was on clearance for 3 bucks! I am not a "shop at Wal*Mart for clothing" person. In fact, I try to avoid buying clothes there, but this dress was so cute and cheap - I couldn't pass it up. Hailey loves it!

Out-of-this-world Recipes

So it seems like I am on a health food kick right now - maybe because I am! I am so tired of not eating healthy. Not that I ever really splurged on unhealthy stuff - I'm talking about eating more whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Since I started my "life-style" changes in terms of food - I have felt so much better - and I've lost weight. Of course - exercise has helped with this, too.

By sharing these I hope that all of us can be more responsible with our health. I want to live to be 102. I don't know about the rest of you, but I want a full active life. And in order to do that I need to be at the top of my game health-wise for a very long time!

Super Recipe Site

I received a "junk mail-order" catalog in the mail a few days ago. I about tossed it out - but didn't. Later that night I saw it sitting on the end table so I picked it up and thumbed thru it. WOW!! So glad I did. The items inside were pretty great, but what I found more amazing were the recipes they had snuck in on a few pages.

It said to go to their website to find more recipes, so I checked it out. This will be one site I visit often! The catalog is called Country Door. The recipe page is here. I have already found numerous recipes I want to try. I'll let you know when I do and if they are good or not. They sound and look yummy! Start cookin, my friends!
